Paloma Baena

SENIOR DIRECTOR OF EUROPEAN AFFAIRS AND NEXT GENERATION EU

Paloma is the Senior Director of European Affairs, leading the launch of the Next Generation EU Unit and European Affairs department. She also serves as academic director and lecturer for EXECUTIVE courses in Sustainability, ESG, and European Affairs.

Experience.

She has worked for over 15 years at top international organizations like the World Bank and OECD. During this time, she has advised governments and companies in developing public-private collaboration projects and negotiating international agreements.

Interests.

Paloma is a lecturer at the IE School of Global and Public Affairs and a Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Foundation trustee. She co-leads the EJE&CON Sustainability Forum and enjoys being a triathlete, tireless traveler, and avid reader.
