Maria leads and develops the Public Affairs and Crisis areas at LLYC in Portugal. She is currently advising companies such as Mercadona, Mercan, Aquila Capital, Bayer, FI Group, Zome, Tik Tok and Unilever.
During the last six and a half years at LLYC, she has managed public affairs projects and teams in the areas of European funds and innovation, health, real estate, circular economy, mobility and online gambling, among others.
In the crisis & risks area, Maria has been part of Iberian, national and international projects aimed at preventing, preparing and managing corporate reputation risks related to product recall and food safety, labour issues, operating barriers and civic activism.
Maria is a certified trainer having led dozens of media training and crisis management courses. She holds a certificate in "Leadership Communication with Impact" from INSEAD and Certification in Professional Training in Design Thinking by FLAG. She has over 8 years’ experience as a journalist of Economy and Society at TVI. She holds a Master’s degree in European Studies from the College of Europe and a degree in Social and Cultural Communication.
