Manuel Domínguez has a Master’s Degree in Public Relations and Strategic Communication from Georgetown University. He is a communication strategist with 20 years’ experience in public affairs, crisis management, storytelling, digital strategies, content creation and media relations.
He worked as a reporter and editor for the country’s main media outlet, La Prensa.
He subsequently ran a communication consultancy firm until he joined the Panama Canal Authority as Vice-President of Communication, where he headed up the re-design and brand positioning and identity among both internal and external audiences.
Prior to his incorporation, he worked in the public sector as State Secretary for Communication. During his term of office, the President of the Republic thanked Manuel Domínguez for his dedication and professionalism at the head of the State Secretariat, particularly during situations of exposure to national and international crises.
