Ocaña studied law at the University of Valladolid, and later studied a Master's degree in Business Law at the Centro de Estudios Garrigues. In 2003 he worked as a project technician at Fundación Iberoamérica Europa. Between 2005 and 2017 he was a lawyer in the international law firm Garrigues, before starting his career at LLYC as Legal & Compliance Director.
