Journalist with over fifteen years of experience in media management.

A former journalistic director of RPP Noticias, Peru's leading news radio station and the most trusted media outlet, according to the Reuters Institute at Oxford University.

He also served as journalism director of the sports newspaper Depor, published by the El Comercio Group, and also magazines published by the group and ContentLab, a content laboratory providing creative and media solutions for companies and brands.

He was also director of Etiqueta Negra, an international magazine of chronicles and reports. He has authored 5 books of journalistic chronicles and bibliographic profiles. He has also worked as a columnist for various media outlets in Latin America and the United States.

His published books include: "Dios es peruano" (God is Peruvian) (2006), "Cholos contra el mundo" (Cholos versus the World) (2012), "No quiero salir de casa" (I don't want to leave home) (2017), and also biographical profiles of Julio Ramón Ribeyro, "Un hombre flaco" (A Thin Man) (2014) and César Vallejo, "El hombre más triste" (The Saddest Man) (2020).
