José Antonio Llorente Herrero: Chairman of the Board of Directors (appointed 04/06/2021). Graduate in information sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid, founder of LLORENTE Y CUENCA (LLYC) in 1995 and Chairman of the firm, leading its growth and international expansion. He has more than 30 years of experience in communications consultancy. For 10 years he worked at the multinational firm Burson-Marsteller, where he was CEO, Spain. Previously, he spent 5 years in the communications department of the CEOE (Spanish Confederation of Business Organisations) and was a journalist at the EFE News Agency.

Among his distinctions, he is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society, the association that brings together global communication leaders of the main international companies and consultancies. He is also a member of the advisory board of the Human Age Institute, the Manpower Foundation, the Board of Trustees of the Euroamérica Foundation, the Advisory Board of the ARCO Foundation, the Museo del Barrio in New York and the International Patronage Council of the Reina Sofia Museum in Spain. He is the first Spanish professional to receive the SABRE Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement from The Holmes Report. He has recently been named Distinguished Alumnus of the Complutense University of Madrid.
