Impact.

Orderly and sustained communication of the various stages of the operation was achieved, minimizing as much as possible the impact of the integration on Scotiabank's business. Rumors or uncertainties affecting the work environment, customers or business inconveniences were avoided. In addition, during the project period (August 2017 - April 2018), 303 publications were generated, equivalent to USD 1,222,634 in ad value.

"Scotiabank's purchase of BBVA was one of the milestones of 2017. Therefore, the announcement was key to position Scotiabank as the third most relevant player in the banking industry with this operation. The strategy was aimed at highlighting Chile's value for the Canadian bank, protecting its reputation against sensitive issues related to the market, regulators, collaborators, among others."
